It is with shaky hands, a dehydrated brain, and swollen face that I greet this Sunday, and the newsletter. A sign of a good weekend, perhaps? I don't know, I'm too foggy to process all of it. And there is no better cure for a fuzzy Sunday than some well deserved (questionable) r and r!
While stale pizza and Mcdonalds usually suffice, this Sunday’s newsletter is more about internal transformation. Listening to what your body is telling you. And, well, my body is gunning for a detox. Usually, when I hit such low depths post a weekend-blackout, I turn very existential- textbook stuff. So, below, I will outline my favorite remedies for some overall internal healing. They range from anything as mild as vegging out with your favorite romcom for a whole day to detoxifying your body with a cocktail of vitamins that’s supposed to delude you into believing your body truly is a temple.
I order my favorite collagen boosting vitamins and collagen liquid beauty boost and double dose to offset whatever collagen I may have lost over my weekend bender. I may have lost my dignity, but I refuse to part with my skin’s youth and elasticity! We all draw the line somewhere.
No good detox is without a little Spirulina to rid that temple of all its tequila impurities, and my favorite spirulina does the job in a non-aggressive way.
There is very little that deludes you into a false sense of health and wellness than the green juice. Yes, apparently some celery, kale, and apples blended together transform your gut thereby transforming your mind. With that in mind, pick your favorite green ingredients and get yourself that Sunday smoothie to pre-emptively start the week in your green goddess fashion!
If you’ve been following your Sunday Newsletter’s regimen regularly, you know we are all about the Sunday face roll. Use that Nurse Jamie Facial Roller or Face Gym Gua Sha to smooth away all the negativity you caused yourself this weekend!
And last but not least, nothing says you’ve had a particularly late Saturday as your classic Sunday look: Sweats and a baseball cap. And you know we at My Therapist Says had to provide you with the best Sunday accessory yet:
Now, you take that Sunday scaries nap, you relax with your favorite tv show, and you remember that there is always next weekend to remedy the poor decisions you made this weekend. That’s what Sundays are for- denial, relaxation, and rest.

Your Monday Mantra to start this week is:
It is only when we take chances, when our lives improve. The initial and the most difficult risk that we need to take is to become honest. —Walter Anderson
